Smoke Exhaust Damper

Smoke Exhaust Damper is the core pipeline component of mechanical smoke exhaust systems. It is specially installed at the connection node between smoke exhaust branch pipes and main pipes. It remains normally open in daily operation, and operates in conjunction with smoke exhaust fans in case of fire to exhaust fire smoke out of the building through pipelines. When the temperature of exhaust smoke in the pipeline reaches 280℃, the built-in temperature sensor of the damper automatically fuses, driving the damper blades to close rapidly, blocking the transmission path of high-temperature smoke and flame, protecting rear-end equipment such as smoke exhaust fans from high-temperature damage, and maintaining the fire compartment integrity of the smoke exhaust zone at the same time.

Our Smoke Exhaust Damper has an optimized structural design for smoke exhaust working conditions. The valve body is made of high-strength galvanized steel sheet, with flexible rotating damper blades and tight closing, which can withstand short-term impact of high-temperature smoke. The product is equipped with a standard signal feedback device, which transmits a closing signal to the fire control room immediately after the damper operates, and supports interlocking the smoke exhaust fan to stop running.
